Yasemn Kaptan, a resident of Tottenham, north London, England, only eats one meal a week, and the reason for that is more than unusual.
Yasemn, 46, eats only once to save money and buy food for her six cats. In the weekly meal, Yasemn eats vegetables with barbecue sauce. On “diet” days, Yasemn eats lunch and mint tea for dinner. With this diet, she lost about 70 pounds in a year.
“I’m out of money, but I can’t let the cats go,” he said.
The woman receives an expense allowance of 69 pounds (about 443 R$) per week. Of this, 60 pounds (385 R$) are accounted for by the Animals. She also receives a £400 ($1,000) monthly disability pension due to osteoporosis, which pays rent and bills, according to the Coventry Telegraph.
“Cat litter, cat food, cat biscuits and special milk eat up all my money. I can only pay my phone bill,” she explained. “There’s nothing I can do about that. My cats have been with me for 17 years, they are my babies,” he added.
Yasemn started raising the cats while working in a shop and the salary was enough to take care of them and the kittens. However, due to osteoporosis, she had to give up her job.
