Amazon has announced that its cloud gaming service Luna is now available in Canada. This service gives users instant access to console-quality games on their existing devices. According to Amazon, Luna is an online gaming service with a wide range of titles for all types of gamers.
Designed for cloud computing, the Luna controller connects directly to the cloud via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth to minimize latency.
Prime or Luna+
Luna has a selection of games for all types of gamers, from mainstream games to retro classics and AAA titles. Prime members can access a rotating selection of games each month at no additional cost, while Luna+ subscribers can access a growing collection of games across all genres, including titles like Sonic Mania Plus, Beach Buggy Racing 2 and Bob the Beast. Three monthly subscription options are offered: Luna+ at $12.99, Ubisoft+ at $22.99, and Jackbox Games at $6.49. Users can also link their Ubisoft Connect account to Luna and play a selection of Ubisoft PC games they already own.
With an iPhone or Android as a controller
Luna regularly releases new features and content, including the Luna Virtual Controller, which allows users to play Luna on Fire TV simply by using their iPhone or Android phone as a controller. Luna Couch also allows users to play local games cooperatively with their friends on Luna even when they are physically apart.
