From this Thursday the XIV Ibero American Business Meeting will take place

The XIV Iberoamerican Business Meeting, organized as part of the XXVIII. The Ibero-American Summit of Heads of State and Government begins today at the Sansouci Convention Center in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

At the event, which will last two days, the Latin American Economic Outlook 2022 is presented, And More than a thousand business people from the region will take part.

Several leaders are expected to attend Friday’s session, led by Dominican President Luis Abinader, who will debate the items on the agenda, present the Ibero-American Quality Prize and transfer the presidency of the Council of Ibero-American Entrepreneurs to Ecuador.

According to the organizers of the event, the thematic priorities to be discussed are investments; Sustainability, climate protection, social commitment and new financing and connectivity models as well as digital transformation.

Also tourism; infrastructure, energy and eco-transition, and gender equality

This Thursday, the Vice President of the Dominican Republic, Raquel Peña, will be present at the inauguration; the Ibero-American Secretary General, Andres Allamand; and the President of the National Council of Dominican Private Enterprises, César Marranzini.

Five panels will be held, chaired by ministers from that country and other figures from the region.

The summit will open next Friday, and on Saturday, starting at 09:30 local time, the plenary session will take place with a lunch that Abinader will offer his guests privately and without an agenda at the National Palace.

The presence of 14 presidents, two vice-presidents, two prime ministers and 22 foreign ministers is expected, who will adopt important instruments to ensure the development of the region.

The Ibero-American Conference represents a consolidated space for collaboration, with an experience based on more than 30 years of uninterrupted work.
