‘Please resign’: Mark Zuckerberg’s ‘dictatorial’ leadership style questioned

Allegations of Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s “dictatorial” leadership style resurface after an email written more than a decade ago surfaced.

This 2010 message, with the subject “Please unsubscribe,” was addressed to an employee who had shared confidential information with TechCrunch, a media outlet specializing in emerging technologies. The letter was sent to all Facebook employees.

The confidential email was shared on March 19 by the Internal Tech Emails account on Twitter. He amassed 3 million views on the platform before disappearing.

“Some of you read the TechCrunch article that claimed we were working on a new phone. As I mentioned before, we don’t do a phone. Our mission is to find ways to make apps and phones more social,” he wrote.

“It’s an act of treason,” he continued. I urge the person who shared this information to resign immediately.”

Zuckerberg, who recently fired Thousands of employees even took the liberty of threatening the source who informed the journalist as part of a major reorganization.

“If you don’t back down, we’ll eventually find you,” he promised.
