He Film “Argentina, 1985” with Ricardo Darín and Peter Lanzaniwill be Available this Friday from 00:00 to 23:59 on the Prime Video platformfree only for Argentina and without subscription, on the occasion of the National Day of Truth and Justice.

The feature film by Santiago Miter revolves around the restoration of democracy in Argentina and the trial of the leaders of the last dictatorship and focuses on the characters of prosecutors Julio César Strassera and Luis Moreno Ocampo, played by Darín and Lanzani respectively.

Last Sunday the 12th, the film competed at the Oscars in the Best International Film category following a tour during which it won numerous awards and recognitions.

Achievements include the Golden Globe for Best Foreign Language Film, the Goya Prize for Best Ibero-American Film and the Audience Award at the San Sebastián International Film Festival.

In addition, also as part of the Remembrance Week, the film will be screened this Saturday at 8:00 p.m. outdoors on the steps of the National Congress, an activity of the “Cinema and Democracy” cycle, the result of a recently signed collaboration agreement between the National Institute for Cinema and Audiovisual Arts (Incaa) and the National Chamber of Deputies, whose aim is to promote national cinematography that showcases democratic values.
