In the less glorious history of the Arizona/Phoenix Coyotes, only one man has crossed the 80-point plateau: Keith Tkachuk. With 10 games this season, Clayton Keller may be looking to break that org record.

After a decent harvest that propelled the American to the All-Star Game, Keller exploded with 37 points in 22 games. This production even approaches Connor McDavid’s 46 points during this period.
The 24-year-old forward has inflated his statistics and currently has 78 points in 72 games. Tkachuk is within striking distance, having recorded 52 goals and 34 assists for 86 points in 1996/97.
The most ardent Coyotes fans will recall that this was the first desert campaign since the Winnipeg Jets relocated. Back then, Tkachuk, Jeremy Roenick and Mike Gartner were the top scorers in Phoenix.
With a point, his 335th in his career, Keller would also overtake Tkachuk for fifth in team history.
Let’s just say the Coyotes have no regrets signing the right winger in 2019 to an eight-year, $57.2 million deal.
