Neighbors fans can finally get ready for the much-anticipated reboot of the hit soap.

Filming dates for a new series of episodes have been confirmed by streaming platforms Freevee and Prime Video.

Production begins April 17 at Nunawading Studios in Melbourne.

Veteran performers unveiled the news on stage during the final show of their Neighbors – The Celebration Tour at the London Palladium.

Alan Fletcher, Jackie Woodburne, Stefan Dennis, Ryan Moloney, Annie Jones and April Rose Pengilly have all been confirmed to return to the series after it originally ended last year.

The reboot is expected to premiere in the spring.

According to TV Blackbox, the new story arcs take place several years after the finale.

No specific number of episodes has been ordered and there is still uncertainty as to whether the same locations from the original series will be used for the reboot.

Neighbors executive producer Jason Herbison said the team is “busily busy writing the next chapter of Neighbors, bringing the series’ beloved characters and new residents back to life.”
