Doctors Without Borders, “Massive Destruction of Healthcare Facilities, Serious Obstacles to Aid”
Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) denounces “the massive and widespread destruction of health facilities in Ukraine and the serious difficulties in accessing medical assistance for the population under Russian military occupation”. Doctors Without Borders called on all parties to the conflict to respect international humanitarian law and their obligation to protect civilians and infrastructure, and to ensure access to life-saving medicines and medical supplies for those in need,” it said in a statement. “Our employees have seen hospitals, houses, schools, shops and playgrounds reduced to rubble. In some towns and villages where we work, the destruction was absolute.
