Last Wednesday, Le Journal reported that Simon Thibault, Senior Director – Batteries Branch, announced his departure from IQ.
IQ then hinted to the Journal that he was leaving “with no severance pay.”

Soon at GM?
According to Radio-Canada, however, Simon Thibault would move to GM, which experts consulted by the state-owned company may raise ethical questions about.
Remember, last year IQ managed to bring GM and POSCO Chemical to Bécancour with a $500 million plant project that would employ 200 people.
Simon Thibault, reached by Le Journal on Friday, returned the ball to IQ.
GM did not respond to questions from the Journal.
