The Duke and Duchess of Sussex wish to be part of the “special family moment” as members of the Royal Family gather on the balcony of Buckingham Palace in London for the King’s coronation. Well-informed sources told the Dailymail that Prince Harry, 38, and Meghan Markle, 41, are dying to attend the coronation of King Charles III on May 6, the same day as Prince Archie’s fourth birthday.
Despite revelations and accusations from the couple towards the royal family in their £100million Netflix documentary and from Prince Harry in the memoir Spare, the Sussexes were invited to the ceremony at Westminster Abbey. Although the couple have yet to confirm whether or not they will be attending the event, the British tabloid writes that the two are reportedly keen to be at the celebrations and would like Prince Archie’s birthday to be recognized in some way on the day.
Sources have hinted the two would also like to be involved in some way when members of the royal family appear on the balcony of Buckingham Palace after the ceremony.
Balcony appearances are usually reserved for members who play an active role in the royal family, but it has been reported that the couple feel they are part of this “special family time”.
