Rapper Kanye West said he swore off anti-Semitism after seeing actor Jonah Hill in the movie 21 Jump Street.

In a post on his social network Instagram, Ye, as he is known, stated that seeing Hill’s role in the 2012 film made him like Jewish people again.

“No one should turn anger against one or two people into hatred for millions of innocent people. No Christian should call himself an anti-Semite knowing that Jesus is a Jew. Thanks Jonah Hill I love you,” the rapper read in his post.

Last year, Ye shocked his followers by delivering hate speech against Jews and praising Hitler in an interview with conspiracy theorist Alex Jones. The rapper has also been criticized for wearing a “White Lives Matter” t-shirt, suggesting slavery as an option and calling the Covid-19 vaccine a “mark of the beast”.

LONDON – Adidas has terminated its contract with the rapper formerly known as Kanye West over his offensive and anti-Semitic comments.

Insulting and anti-Semitic remarks by Yes led to the cancellation of his documentary in October 2022 and cost him a contract with the German sporting goods manufacturer Adidas.

“Adidas does not condone anti-Semitism or any other form of hate speech. Yes’s recent statements and actions have been unacceptable, hateful and dangerous, and violate the company’s values of diversity and inclusion, mutual respect and fairness,” the company said in a statement.

Likewise, in December 2022, the CEO of the social network Twitter, Elon Musk, suspended Yes’s account after the rapper posted an image of a swastika merged with the Star of David.

“I did my best. However, you have again violated our policy against incitement to violence. Account will be suspended,” Musk tweeted at the time.
