After the moment went viral on social media, one netizen decided to blast the singer’s take on coming out during Lollapalooza. In the comments of a post on Instagram on Gossip do Dia’s profile, one person expressed dissatisfaction with the situation.

“I wanted to know why you have to use that on the show? I thought it was so ridiculous, uh… Nobody wants to know,” one person snapped. However, when Pedro Sampaio faced criticism for having embraced bisexuality in Lollapalooza, he decided to counter the netizen’s criticism.
“It’s not about ‘somebody wants to know or not’, it’s about inspiring, encouraging and representing LGBT people. Demonstrations like mine can change the lives of millions of people,” countered Pedro Sampaio, winning the support of many people.
