Sir Elton John took to Instagram on Saturday to show his fans how he celebrated his 76th birthday.
The Don’t Go Breaking My Heart hitmaker spent the big day with husband David Furnish, 60, and their two children, Zachary Furnish-John, 13, and Elijah Furnish-John, 10.
Posting some snaps to his 4.4 million followers, he showed off some giant pink and gold balloons and a sweet gift of 100 oak trees.
The trees weren’t fully grown yet, but they were branches from acorns from an old tree that had been part of Sir Elton’s driveway for years.
Describing the day as “magical” and “a real celebration,” it was the delicious cake that stole the show.

Decorated with fondant icing, Elton saw it as an edible, piano-playing version of himself bearing one of his trademarks.
A fondant icing lay on top of the piano David staring Elton in the eye as their children lay down and apparently listened to the songs being played in the imaginary scene.
Elton captioned the pics: “Absolutely loved my birthday! A magical day with @davidfurnish and our beautiful sons.
“From the most spectacular cake to the gift of 100 oak trees that grew from acorns from the ancient tree that has graced my driveway for centuries, it was a real celebration.
“From the bottom of my heart I thank all the friends and fans who sent flowers and nice messages.”
The music legend then released a series of Celebrity Face Stories congratulating him on the milestone.
These included Taron Egerton, who famously played him in the biopic Rocketman, comedian David Walliams, actor Russell Tovey and makeup mastermind Charlotte Tilbury.
Sir Elton, who is currently touring with his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour, has a music career spanning more than five decades.

He has sold more than 300 million records worldwide and was knighted in 1998 for services to music and charity.
Husband David explained to Billboard why the legendary singer is looking to take his final bow from touring:
“As long as I’ve known Elton, he’s been on the road, playing 90 to 100 shows a year. It’s a big commitment.”
Elton is now planning to cut back on his work to spend more time with his sons and his final UK leg of the tour will be headlining Glastonbury in June.
