Ukrainian drone intercepted before crash in Russia
The Russian military said Kiev attempted to launch an attack using a Strizh (Tu-141) drone, but the unmanned aircraft was intercepted by Russia’s Electronic Warfare (EW) system.
“The Pole-21 electronic warfare system hit a Ukrainian attack drone, disabling its navigation system. The unmanned vehicle, which lost its orientation, crashed near the village of Kireevsk in the Tula region,” the Russian Defense Ministry said.
Three residential buildings were partially damaged in the explosion in Kireevsky district, Tula region, which occurred yesterday afternoon. Three people were injured: one victim was treated at the scene, a woman was taken to a medical facility.
