- With a goal and two assists on Friday night, Christian Pulisic continues to climb the USMNT offensive scorer list. - Pulisic’s four goals at Orlando’s Exploria Stadium are the most on any ground he has represented the USMNT on. He scored three of those goals a year ago today when he scored a hat-trick in the 5-1 win over Panama to put USA within reach of World Cup qualifiers on March 27, 2022.
- Joining Pulisic are Yunus Musah, Gio Reyna, Antonee Robinson and Miles Robinson as the five starters who appeared in that game against Panama last March.
- Both Matt Turner and Daryl Dike made their USMNT debuts at Orlando’s Exploria Stadium in the 7-0 win over Trinidad and Tobago on January 31, 2021. Turner became the first USMNT goaltender to save a penalty on his debut when he Alvin Jones’ penalty in the 66th minute.
- Weston McKennie continues his winning streak of appearing in all 10 games of the USMNT’s Concacaf Nations League. His two goals against Grenada earned him sixth place in the competition, putting him ahead of Jordan Morris to take the all-time lead.
Gio Reyna is making his first start since the Concacaf Nations League semi-finals and finals on June 3 and 6, 2021 in back-to-back USMNT games against Honduras and Mexico, respectively.
