Former US President Barack Obama is currently in Australia on a costly speaking tour hosted by former Secretary of State Julie Bishop.
Known for her fashion sense, the Australian politician opted for a chic ensemble for Obama’s Sydney conference on Tuesday night in Sydney.
Sparing no expense, the 66-year-old posed at the Four Seasons Hotel Sydney in a cream Carla Zampatti suit valued at $1848 in total.
She paired the Australian brand’s sleek Ivory Crepe Scalloped Jacket with her Ivory Crepe Wide Waisted Pant.
The chic jacket alone retails for a whopping $1,249, while the matching pants retail for $599.

Julie beamed as she posed for a selfie at the event, which was shared to her Instagram Stories on Tuesday.
Barack will be speaking at the city’s ‘An Evening with President Obama’ – where Australians will hear about ‘the politician’s path to success’.
Tickets for Obama’s speaking engagements cost between A$195 and A$895 and the trip is expected to fetch up to A$1 million for the former president.
The 61-year-old will continue his tour in Melbourne on Wednesday night, where he will speak at the John Cain Arena.

Obama was seen on Monday landing in Sydney on a private jet, taking his wife Michelle for the long drive.
The politician, who was US President from 2009 to 2017, last visited Down Under in November 2014.
“President Obama faced a complex set of challenges, including the rise of China, ISIL’s seizure of territories in Syria and Iraq, the Syrian civil war, the 2008-09 global financial crisis and more,” Bishop said ahead of the tour.
“He sought closer economic ties with key Indo-Pacific nations through increased trade. President Obama’s insight into current world events will be invaluable.’
