It’s a girl! USA and Arsenal goalkeeper Matt Turner is mobbed by his team-mates after kicking a miniature ball in the air to reveal the gender of his baby following USMNT’s win
Matt Turner and his wife add another member to their team — and it’s a girl.
The USA goalkeeper got the great news after the national team’s 1-0 win against El Salvador on Monday night, where the home team won 1-0 in Orlando.
The good spirits continued after the game when Turner kicked a miniball in the air to reveal a pink cloud.
Turner’s teammates ambushed him after the revelation and doused the goalie with water while the team jumped up and down.
Turner married former NFL cheerleader Ashley Herron last year, and the couple already have a son, Easton.

Last year, during her baby son’s gender reveal, Ashley kicked a ball, injuring Turner
Easton’s gender was also revealed via gender reveal last year when Turner was still playing for the New England Revolution of MLS.
Back then, it was Ashley who kicked the ball after a game at Gillette Stadium to reveal a blue cloud before walking over to Turner and hugging him.
Turner’s latest revelation came after a successful night for him and the US.
The 1-0 win secured the USMNT a seat in the semi-finals of the CONCAF Nations League, to be played in June.
After a goalless first half, second-half substitute Ricardo Pepi continued his strong form by scoring in the 62nd minute to give the home side a crucial lead.
The Americans finished in League A, Group D (3-0-1, 10 points) ahead of El Salvador (1-1-2, 5 points).
Finishing in the top two of the group both qualified for this summer’s CONCACAF Gold Cup.
