Márcia Goldschmidt made a startling revelation as she recalled her time as an audience leader commanding an attraction at SBT. The presenter reported during her participation in the program Que História É Essa, Porchat? (GNT), last Tuesday (28). The veteran said she felt sick from fear of Silvio Santos, the station’s owner.

The presenter said she received a job offer at Globo but turned it down and ended up in hospital due to a crisis, sparked by fear of the boss’s attention. The São Paulobased communicator said she went to Rio de Janeiro to meet a friend who worked at Marinho Station and ended up at Globo studios, also without meaning to.

At the station in Rio, Márcia was surprised to see director Boni: “I started to freeze and he asked me how much I make with SBT. I have to say it was bonuses! I earned BRL 5,000, registered, I didn’t have a contract,” she revealed to the surprise of all viewers of the show, including the director. “Then he said, ‘Pay her 50 times more. How much do you want?’” the director demanded.

“I don’t want anything, I work at SBT, I don’t want anything,” she recalls, going on to have a kidney crisis and ending up in the hospital for fear her boss would find out about her meetings with the global. She took the plane back to São Paulo and was treated at a hospital there. In the end, she said Silvio Santos already knew about the meeting and called her to a meeting, which she attended while still taking serum. Everything ended well, and the boss was glad not to lose the employee to the competition.
