A Michigan girl who was mercilessly teased about her big feet has now officially set the children’s world record.
Jonesville’s Ruby Labuschewsky received the award at age nine thanks to her height of 10.5 feet.
Mum Hanna Matheny said she encouraged the fourth-grader to apply to boost her confidence after she was the subject of ridicule and teasing.
Ruby, who is just 5ft 1in, is now enjoying her newfound celebrity status.

Hanna said the submission process for Kids World Records was rigorous.
The mother-daughter duo were asked to submit exact measurements as well as a series of photos showing Ruby’s feet next to a tape measure from multiple angles.
Hanna said there was a four-week wait after submitting her application, during which they checked the status every day — and finally the verdict came.
Ruby told Insider: “When I found out about this, I was very excited. I jumped up and down and went a little crazy.’
But Hanna told Fox 47 News: “Since her dad wears a 13 and I wear a size 11, it was pretty much a given that she would have big feet. She’s wearing my shoes.’
The 10-year-old youngster has meanwhile become a mini-celebrity herself.
Hanna said she’s glad it gave her daughter the morale boost she needed.
She said: “It’s hard for her to show her style and personality if she can’t get the shoes she wants.”
Hanna told Fox 47 News, “Since her dad was a size 13 (left) and I was a size 11 (right), it was pretty much a given that Ruby (center) would have big feet.”

But after her award, Hanna added: “She was pretty bragging about it. Many kids have said, “I saw you on the news.”
And Ruby shows no signs of slowing down.
The now 10-year-old, whose feet have grown to a size 11, has already competed for the biggest feet in her new age group.
Children between the ages of four and 16 can compete in various categories for titles with Kids World Records.
It differs from the Guinness Book of World Records in that it focuses exclusively on young participants and ambitious youngsters can even submit their own new categories for consideration.
