Royalty: African princesses inspired Sarah’s theme party at BBB 23 Splash

BBB 23 (Globo) leader Sarah Aline will end her reign with a party themed around her chosen theme: African royalty.

The sister’s party has decorations inspired by the great African empires and Sarah received a special outfit with princess details and even a crown.

There are currently still a few monarchies in Africa that differ from one another in terms of power regimes, laws and customs.

Meet some of the African princesses who inspired Leader Sarah Party:

Princess Sarah Culberson (Sierra Leone)

Sarah, the BBB leader’s namesake, lived a story similar to that of a fairy tale: Placed in an orphanage at birth, the princess lived in West Virginia, USA, and discovered at the age of 28 that she was part of the African royalty , after hiring a private investigator to investigate his origins.

Sarah discovered that she was the heir to the throne of Mende, a tribe in Sierra Leone, a West African country.

The young woman traveled to her father and other relatives and used her influence to help her homeland, which was devastated by civil war. Sarah then set up a foundation to help the country, including rebuilding schools and bringing clean water to the country.

Princess Akosua Busia (Ghana)

The Ghanaian Princess Akosua studied dramaturgy and can be seen in some works as an actress, such as in the films “The Color Purple” and “Tears in the Sun”. She is the royal princess of Wenchi, Ghana.

Akosua has the title of peerage thanks to his father, who is a prince of the Wenchi royal family.

The princess has other professions, as a writer, screenwriter, poet and director.

Princess Elizabeth Bagaaya (Toro, Uganda)

Toro is one of four kingdoms within the borders of Uganda

Raised in England in a traditional school for aristocratic girls only, Princess Elizabeth Bagaaya was the first black student.

Elizabeth has worked as an international model, foreign minister and Ugandan ambassador to Germany, the Vatican and Nigeria. In 1994, Museveni restored Uganda’s kingdom and peace reigned.

The princess is now 87 years old and still active and involved in projects related to women’s empowerment. He resides in the Palácio de Toro and only gives live interviews.
