SPOILER WARNING: Don’t read any further if you haven’t seen Season 9 Episode 7 of The Masked Singer which aired on Fox on March 29th.

Everyone knows George Wendt’s name – at least Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg. Cheers star Wendt was one of two other celebs revealed on Wednesday’s The Masked Singer. Also exposed: “Selling Sunset” star Christine Quinn.

For Moose, panelist Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg got it right with George Wendt. Robin Thicke went with Jon Lovitz, Nicole Scherzinger’s name was Ed O’Neill, and Ken Jeong guessed John Goodman.

As for Scorpio, nobody got it right. McCarthy Wahlberg’s name was Denise Richards, Thicke assumed Lisa Rinna. Ken Jeong thought it was Heidi Klum. Nicole Scherzinger chose Willa Ford.

As in the previous season, “The Masked Singer” has again adopted a “Champion of Masked Singer” format. Three costumed celebrities will appear in each episode, but only one will win and compete again the following week. After each round, three finalists compete in the semi-finals.

This means that one contestant is revealed mid-episode and the top two singers go head-to-head in a “battle royale.” After Wendt had to be revealed as Moose first, Doll and Scorpio had to compete with Duran Duran’s “Hungry Like the Wolf”. Scorpio received fewer votes and was revealed to be Quinn.

Christine Quinn as a scorpion and George Wendt as a moose join Holly Robinson Peete as a fairy, Alexa Bliss as an axolotl, Lele Pons as a jackalope, Malin Akerman as a squirrel, Michael Bolton as a wolf, Grandmaster Flash as a polar bear, Debbie Gibson as a night owl and Howie Mandel as Rock Lobster, Sara Evans as Mustang and Dick Van Dyke as Gnome as the celebs revealed this season.

It was ’80s Night’ and Gast Young MC opened the show with his 1989 classic ‘Bust a Move’. Also guest-starring this week were Erik Estrada (who was actually more of a ’70s icon, but who’s counting) and ‘Dallas’ star Charlene Tilton (sure, why not).

New this season is “Ding Dong Keep It On”. In the new variant of the competition, panelists have an opportunity to save a singer from impending elimination, but the bell can only be rung three times in the first three rounds. These three singers will then face each other in a special episode in a battle to resume the competition. There was no ring on Wednesday.

The Masked Singer goes into Season 9 with 21 contestants including Mustang, Axolotl, California Roll, Dandelion, Moose, Gargoyle, Jackalope, Doll, Polar Bear ‘, ‘Night Owl’, ‘Rock Lobster’, ‘Gnome’, ‘Macaw’, ‘Squirrel’, ‘Wolf’ and more to be announced. Tim Chappel is this season’s costume designer.

Season 9 contestants “have a total of 28 Emmy nominations, six Grammy wins, 10 gold albums, four Golden Globe nominations, five medals, 26 books, two Tony Award nominations, five Lifetime Achievement Awards, four stars on Hollywood Walk of Fame and 95,231,000 total record sales.” Season Nine introduces brand new themed episodes including ABBA, New York, DC Superheroes, Sesame Street, 80s Night, Movie Night” and more.

Here were the contestants and their performances on the seventh night:

Doll, “The Masked Singer” (Michael Becker/Fox) Pete Dadds

Doll (WINNER)

song: “Don’t You (Forget About Me)”, by Simple Minds

Panel advises: Gene Simmons, Vince Lee, Tommy Lee, Donnie Wahlberg, Sebastian Bach

Notice: (Supplied by Erik Estrada) “Ghostwriter.” “While my film career is daunting, it’s my work with a multi-Grammy winning artist that blows my mind.”

Voiceover Pack: “Hello, I’m Doll. I heard it’s 80’s night, which gives me a good feeling. Right at home. Growing up, life was surreal. Maybe a little rocking. I was crazy And if it was about my voice, forget it. Nobody wanted to hear it. Until one day I found other lost misfit dolls and we started our own crew. My toy gang and I had such a good time. But the man came in and said we were too weird. And tries to turn us off. But they didn’t know who they were dealing with. So, step by step, I marched into that playground and trained them all. So this is for all those unforgettable freaky deady dolls that were ever told they were expendable. would you love me I love me!”

Scorpio, “The Masked Singer” (Michael Becker/Fox) Pete Dadds

Scorpio (CHRISTINE QUINN)

Song: “Girls Just Want to Have Fun” by Cyndi Lauper

Panel guesses: Kim Cattrall, Christine Quinn, Lisa Rinna, Denise Richards, Heidi Klum

A notice: (shared by Young MC): The sprinkler dance. “I’m never the one to do it. But even I know that watering your property is important.”

Voiceover Pack: “Ahh, the 80s, a decade of excess. And there’s nothing I love more than being over the top. Growing up as a girl from a small town in the middle of nowhere, I knew I was made for bigger things. So I rushed to work in fast food and bars to buy everything out of the sticks and get closer to my destiny. Eventually I made my vest and started digging into the industry. But ironically, after years of trying to be other people, the key to my fame was simply being myself. Even if that sometimes makes me the villain. Honestly, I’m fine when the gossip says I’m a wild thing. But you will be surprised how charming and persuasive I can be!”

Moose, “The Masked Singer” (Michael Becker/Fox) Pete Dadds

Moose (GEORGE WENDT)

song: “The Power of Love” by Huey Lewis and the News

Panel advises: George Wendt, Jon Lovitz, John Goodman, Ed O’Neill

Notice: (narrated by Charlene Tilton) Acceptance Speech. “I didn’t need much for that. I keep a few in the trunk of my car and under a suit coat.”

Voiceover Pack: (Sung) “Born in the Midwest, just a regular guy. And moved to the city where I met my wife. She coached me in love and then we moved west. I’ve got my hooves in the door and I’m doing what I do best. I’m just a moose on the loose. You joined some friends you may know and became the king of your favorite series. But while you think you know me there’s just one more thing. This guy is ready to get on stage and sing. I’m just a moose on the loose!”
