Time Capsule: A camera found 13 years later

A camera found in the water after 13 years has brought joy to Colorado while the photos it contains have miraculously withstood the wind and tides.

Wedding photos, bachelorette parties, vacation memories, everyday videos: this time capsule allowed old camera owner Coral Amayi to relive memories from ten years ago, the BBC reported.

During a walk along the river, a hobby fisherman began to collect the litter, which began to break through the melting spring snow, to put in his bag.

“I saw the camera halfway out of the mud. It was clear that she had been there a long time. When I got home, I immediately looked to see if there was anything to it,” said Spencer Greiner, laughing in an interview with the BBC.

To his surprise, the intact SD card restored a significant number of photos and videos, so the man began to search for the owner of the camera on social networks.

“Did you get married in the Durango area on June 12, 2010? Did you have an ugly brown station wagon at your bachelorette party? Do you recognize the people in these photos? he posted in various local groups.

The bride’s friend, Coral Amayi, immediately contacted the fisherman to get the photos. She explained that she lost the waterproof camera while going down the river.

“It’s really nice to see how these photos bring back memories I hadn’t thought of for a long time. A friend and her baby [qui se trouvaient sur les photos] We hadn’t spoken much lately, so that gave me a good reason to reach out to her,” she said.
