“You bought your co-stars Maseratis?” she repeated.

Sandler saved face as Aniston pretended to walk out of the interview, joking that he had tried to give her similar gifts.

“You want to know the truth about Jennifer? I bought her three Ferraris,’ he said, opening the joke. “Every time I boot it up, a guy comes out and says, ‘Hey, get this out there,’ and I’m like, ‘No, no, this is a gift.’

“And the guy says, ‘Let’s go, keep moving. So I’m going down the hill as ghosts,’ he said as she stepped away from her chair.
