the European athlete Franz Muellner, Winner of multiple records, achieved a world challenge in Peru. For him, this challenge was one of the toughest, as he was pulling an 81-tonne train with a gauge of 10 meters and 60 centimeters.
The challenge took place this Friday at the Inca Rail Company facilities in ollantaytambo and it raised a lot of expectations. Under the watchful eyes of the citizens, Franz Müllner pulled the heavy rail unit with all his might and achieved victory.

“That was one of the most difficult challenges. It’s the best moment of my career,” he briefly told a translator, who later shared his message with local journalists.
At the same time, the foreigner highlighted the kindness he experienced during his stay in Cusco and expressed being amazed by its natural beauty. “It’s paradise,” he described. In Spanish it means “This is paradise”. Almost in tears, he was grateful for his welcome and the challenge he had met.
Franz Müllner, a competitive athlete
The Austrian naturalist expressed that he chose Cusco as part of his world tour visiting different cities on the seven continents. In each of them you have the challenge of towing helicopters, ships and other very heavy units. The tour is called “7 records on 7 continents”.
Müllner holds 39 Guinness World Records. His beginnings lie in endurance sports. He later developed a passion for strength training. He was able to tow two trucks at once, lift an army plane and even a helicopter, among other challenges in different countries.
