A California skydiving student came close to disaster Monday after becoming entangled in power lines during a skydive.
According to KNBC television, the unidentified skydiver missed the planned landing zone in Riverside County in the United States when she got stuck in power lines.
“I tried to avoid that power line, then turned right and ended up on the other power line,” she said.
“I don’t know if I’ll jump again. Probably not,” she added.
In a series of tweets, Riverside County firefighters said they could have pulled the woman out with a turntable ladder. After the rescue, she was examined and reportedly refused further medical treatment.

“She was disoriented and turned the wrong way. It got stuck on a utility pole with power lines hanging next to the transformer,” Jeff Roberts of the Lake Elsinore Fire Department told SF Gate.
The firefighter told SF Gate it was the second time in a year they had responded to a call with a paratrooper and power lines.
