If you are fascinated by Japanese imports You should read this article and then check out what Iconic Motorbikes has up for auction.
They’ve been readily available since last Friday eight very rare Japanese jewels, all small/medium sized. According to Iconic, all eight bikes come from an acquaintance who was able to fire them up at the 2019 Barber Vintage Festival in Birmingham, Alabama. Japanese eight o’clock so they can work or not, since it’s been around for a while.
Surely, You need basic interventions such as maintenance such as cleaning the carburetors and changing the battery as well as changing all fluids and a good general check. The bikes are of a certain age, ranging from the 80s to the early 2000s, it is important to check the tightness of the various seals and o-rings.
But which bikes are up for auction?
Details on each bike can be found in the respective auction listing. But here’s a taste of what you can find ahead:
- Kawasaki GPX400R
- Suzuki GSX-R 400 from 1986
- Yamaha RZ250R
- Yamaha R1-Z
- Honda NSR75
- Yamaha Lanza
- Yamaha Mate 80
- Honda Clubman GB250
Unfortunately, most bikes, all but the GSX-R 400 and GPX400R, they have no documents. However, the owner has chosen not to set a reserve price in the auction, so we’re sure to see some very interesting offers!
