I can only imagine the jubilant scenes behind closed doors at Kensington Palace.
The reigning Queen of the Awakened World, Jacinda Ardern, had just chosen her side in the Windsors’ increasingly bitter war.
Against all odds, and despite a massive schmooze campaign by the Montecito moans, William and Kate won this apparently prized endorsement over their arch-rivals Harry and Meghan.
In the week that she stepped down as an MP in New Zealand’s parliament, leaving the country more divided than ever in its history, Ardern proudly announced that she will join the board of the Prince of Wales’ beloved Earthshot Prize.

DAN WOOTTON: William even gushed that he was “honoured” that Ardern took on the role and praised her “lifelong commitment to sustainable development and climate change.”

“I am very grateful to her for joining us in the next steps of her career,” he added.
Suddenly it made sense why Ardern had expressed his disgust last year at being used on Harry and Meghan’s Netflix show Live to Lead, publicly hitting back at the docuseries by saying she wasn’t aware of the Sussexes’ involvement conscious when she first agreed to an interview.
Being snubbed by Ardern in favor of Wills and Kate marks a marked deepening of the toxicity now associated with Harry and Meghan already facing the Obamas’ outrage and even Oprah Winfrey beginning to publicly distance herself from her obsessive campaign against her to distance one’s own families.
But in the dizzying excitement of yet another major victory over his treacherous younger brother, I fear William has made his first mistake as Prince of Wales by allying himself so closely with one of the world’s more divisive politicians.
While London’s champagne socialists covet the 42-year-old Vogue magazine pin-up for her strident left-wing views and role as the darling of the globalist elite backed by the World Economic Forum, the public doesn’t see Ardern that way.
As a proud dual citizen of Britain and New Zealand, I watched from afar in horror as she turned my once-united country of birth into an authoritarian hellscape during the Covid pandemic, tearing society apart.

DAN WOOTTON: Anti-science Ardern pursued a dystopian zero-Covid policy, locking millions in their hermit kingdom over a lone Covid case
The small group of Kiwis who were allowed to return to the country were locked up in state hotel jails and criticized for failing to meet the standards of the United Nations Convention on Crimes Against Torture, while their relatives died in nearby hospitals.
Anti-science Ardern pursued a dystopian zero-Covid policy, locking millions in her hermit kingdom over a lone Covid case.
As if that wasn’t bad enough, the heartless Ardern then proudly boasted about creating a two-tier society based on Covid vaccine status, eventually firing teachers, police officers, doctors, pharmacists and even vets who decided exercise their right to bodily autonomy.
“Ardern’s criminal record is lengthy and complicated and I accept that the Prince of Wales may not be aware of this, given the nature of courtiers who surround him, but it is important that he now does his duty of care and the offer to Ardern withdraws. ‘ writes Dan Wootton
Eventually, those whom Ardern had expelled from society launched an occupation of Parliament Grounds, forcing them into a hasty retreat and eventually causing their resignation.
Her constant refusal to “be kind” was at odds with the most brutal and inhumane lockdown regime outside of China, a country where she snuggled up during her tenure as prime minister.
That’s before you get to Ardern’s litany of failures in fighting crime, improving race relations, reducing homelessness, improving the economy and eradicating child poverty, as they seem more obsessed with their international celebrity status and future employment was than the standard of living of New Zealanders.
A master of politics, Ardern emotionally announced to the world through crocodile tears that she was quitting because she was out of tank, knowing full well that she would face an election defeat from her well-fed citizens later that year.
Despite the MSM portrayal of Ardern as some kind of harmless heroine, she is actually one of the most controversial politicians Down Under in a generation – and I think William was ill-advised with that appointment.
Not to mention the fact that Ardern is a self-confessed Republican who has spent her five years in office trying to distance New Zealand from the Crown.
Also, this kind of alliance is dangerous for the royals and totally unnecessary; They don’t need highly partisan political advisors as part of their clique.
It would never have occurred to the late Queen to hire such a controversial, out-of-office Prime Minister of the Commonwealth as a key adviser.
It’s strange because, like it or not, over 50 per cent of New Zealanders – and many millions around the world – believe Ardern was a terrible leader.
And it’s numb to think otherwise just because said politician happens to be a media darling.
There is also a serious dose of hypocrisy that comes with such an attitude.
DAN WOOTTON: I’m afraid William made his first mistake as Prince of Wales by allying himself so closely with one of the world’s most divisive politicians
It is unthinkable that Williams’ advisors would have allowed him, so shortly after leaving office, to proudly announce that he had hired a politician from the center right of the political spectrum for such a high-profile job.
The mainstream liberal media would have spontaneously burst into flames had the Cambridges, for example, landed Boris Johnson in a similar role.
But why? Boris is much more of an environmental activist than Ardern, who has made many more consistent green decisions during his tenure.
The British monarchy is under attack by nefarious forces encouraged by Harry and Meghan.
They will only be defeated if King Charles and Prince William eagerly avoid the trap of becoming partisan.
Ardern’s criminal record is lengthy and complicated and I accept that the Prince of Wales may not be aware of this given the nature of courtiers who surround him, but it is important that he does his duty of care now and withdraws the offer to Ardern .
Otherwise, he risks sneaking further and further into politics and damaging his well-deserved spotless reputation.
Trust me Wills, as one of your most passionate supporters, Ardern isn’t worth it.
