Chaos at I’m a Celebrity as stars are arrested for sneaking contraband into the jungle – while Dicko cheekily compares the banned items to drugs

The stars of I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! were caught bringing contraband goods onto the show on Wednesday.

The contestants were caught sneaking in lollipops and a Kit Kat to snack on at camp and were quickly forced to feast on the sugary items before being taken away.

In one hilarious scene, the housemates went on a binge eating over the snacks, while former Australian Idol judge Ian ‘Dicko’ Dickson jokingly compared the items to drugs.

He said contestants would pull out the banded treats in the early hours to hide them from producers.

“The first few days of this camp was like a 3am downtown nightclub at times,” Dicko said in an on-camera post.

“Everyone was walking around saying, ‘Do you want something?’ A bit scattered here. Have a swab in here. Throw in some of that… Honestly, it was so sneaky… I’m just amazed we got spotted.’

Peter Helliar added: “I had a feeling this moment was coming, but it’s descended into a frenzy. It was like Boxing Day sales.”

After being caught with the merchandise, the producers gave them a note, which was read out by Liz Ellis.

“You have either two minutes to consume or hand in each individual item,” it said.

The contestants then decided to eat the treats instead of handing them in.

The TV star, 69, drew the ire of viewers on social media after she refused to enter a lost and found challenge and let Below Deck’s Aesha Scott compete alone.

The challenge involved stars searching for a variety of items in several dirty – and sometimes exploding – portaloos.

Twitter erupted in anger and backlash after Kerri-Anne sniffed at the challenge, with some calling her a diva.

‘Yes. KAK already fed up. I’m not sure why Channel Ten wanted her on the show so badly and more so I’m not sure why she agreed – she’s way too diva,” one wrote.

“Get rid of Kerri-Anne, she always makes me sick when she complains. P*ss her away,’ added another.

“It’s pretty obvious that KAK is only there for money. She’s certainly not there for her chosen charity or, I suspected, a bit to restore her reputation,” said another.

“I just used all 10 of my votes for KAK because she didn’t deserve a moment of peace,” one more quipped.

Kerri-Anne flatly refused to attend Wednesday’s disgusting trial.

“No, I don’t get spattered with feces and maggots and lice. No. I’d rather play golf,” she told hosts Dr. Chris Brown and Julia Morris.
