Joker: Folie à Deux wraps up filming as director Todd Phillips shares two new images

Joker: Folie à Deux has officially wrapped filming and to celebrate the moment, director Todd Phillips has shared two new images of Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker and Lady Gaga’s Harley Quinn.

Sharing the news on Instagram, Phillips said he was so proud of the crew and that now was the time to lock himself in to finish the film with the team.

“This is a degree. Thanks to these two (+ the entire cast) and the BEST crew the movie industry has to offer. From top to bottom. I’m going to crawl into a cave now (cutting space) and put it all together.”

Joker: Folie à Deux will be released in theaters on October 4, 2024. We don’t know much about the 2019 Joker sequel yet, but reports have been that it will be a musical. However, it has been confirmed that it will exist outside of James Gunn and Peter Safran’s DCU and will live in DC’s Elseworlds.

Lady Gaga’s Harley Quinn received a first flashback in February, and it follows that she shares the news of her joining the cast with a video of her and Joker dancing to vintage music.
