Death threats: Richard Martineau files charges against Tristan Bavaria

After Patrick Lagacé, it is Richard Martineau’s turn to officially report Tristan Bavaria. The QUB radio host went to a police station on Tuesday to start his trial.

On March 6, the 44-year-old posted a video on social media. Bavaria cheerfully threatened the two public figures.

“People like Lagacé, guys like Martineau, it shouldn’t be safe anymore,” he said.

Fun fact: the video he was about to submit as evidence was posted on TikTok. However, the police are among the employees who are no longer authorized to use the social network. The presenter was forced to play the clip on his own phone and the picture was taken from a police officer’s phone. Like what the ban on TikTok hides some small logistical issues.
