What’s new in the new LG C3 OLED TV of 2023
If you have to buy a TV with OLED technology in 2023, you should take a look at this C3. As a reminder, OLED technology was able to see the light of day thanks to the presence of self-emitting diodes under the panel, which only need electricity to light up without the help of a backlight. These diodes turn off when no color is to be displayed, so that the black shown is almost infinite and the contrasts are almost perfect.
LG is the reference manufacturer in terms of OLED and, in order not to lose its advantage over the competition, the latter innovates every year to improve its products. In the C3 we have in particular:
- An integrated soundbar is available that replaces the base of the screen;
- An Alpha 9 processor update moves from Gen 5 to Gen 6.
Aside from these little things, there are a few other important new features to note! We’re still on a 120Hz OLED Evo panel, very thin bezels, 4 HDMI 2.1 ports, VRR, ALLM, Dolby Vision/Atmos, DTS… The C3 will certainly be an excellent TV, as will the C2, so don’t take any chances by taking advantage of the promotion on this 55-inch model.
