The TikTok star captioned an Instagram post with her chant: “It’s hard to see the light right now. This song felt appropriate for the week I had. All is well. Applause.
The contribution was of her singing the famous No One Is Alone by Stephen Sondheim from the film Into The Woods.
Ms Mulvaney – who uses the pronouns she or she – posted the video to 1.7million followers yesterday after she was spotted dancing in a Nike sports bra and leggings on paid social media content.
Before bursting into song dressed in a black and pink ball gown, she said: “Whether you’re a parent or a kid or young or old or trans or you’re not, we’re all just trying our best here, aren’t we?

In a series of posts Tuesday, Dylan Mulvaney shared videos and pictures wearing Nike leggings and a sports bra
The song goes on to say, “Hard to see the light now. Just don’t let it. Things will come out soon. We can do it like that. Someone is on your side. Nobody is alone’.
At the time of writing, the post had over 119,000 likes and more than 2,000 comments.
In the latest Nike posts on Instagram, Ms Mulvaney appeared in a pair of black leggings and a white sports bra to strike yoga poses in a sunny backyard.
The video then showed the star dancing and exercising barefoot in a garden while a happy song played.
Some people on social media expressed their anger at Nike’s decision to work with Ms Mulvaney.
One wrote: “I really liked Nike as a brand but I will never wear a shoe from them again after they unveiled Dylan Mulvaney as their new womenswear ambassador.”
Although the transgender star has received a lot of support from her followers and fans, not everyone agrees that Nike’s move was appropriate.
Sharon Davies, who won silver for Team GB in the 400m individual medley at the 1980 Moscow Olympics, said the move was a “step backwards” after several sports federations moved to give natural women their own protected category in competitions give.
‘It’s so frustrating. We take two steps forward with World Athletics and Swim England to protect women’s sport and then Nike does that,” she told Dan Wootton Tonight on GB News.
“The ad feels like a parody of what women are. In the past it was always considered an insult to say, “Run like a girl,” and here we have someone who is acting very unsportsmanlike and very unsportsmanlike and it’s so frustrating when it’s only 1 percent of the US sponsorship dollar goes to women in sports.
That Nike would do that feels like a kick in the face.”

She advocated a boycott, saying: “We can protest. That’s all we have for now. Nobody seems to be listening.
“The only way we can get these companies and governments to take notice is to boycott with our wallet.
“That’s all they hear.”

It’s not the first time Nike has partnered with a trans star in their marketing. In 2021, they launched their “Play New” campaign with Mara Gomez, who plays in Argentina’s professional soccer league.
The controversy could impact sales, which have received a huge boost in recent months from stars like Lioness Chloe Kelly being seen wearing her products.

Nike issued its first response online yesterday, stating that it would delete comments it did not judge to be in the spirit of diversity or inclusivity.
It insisted: “You are an integral part of the success of your community.
“We welcome comments that contribute to a positive and constructive discussion.
‘Be friendly. Be inclusive. Encourage each other. Hate speech, bullying or other behavior that is not in the spirit of a diverse and inclusive community will be deleted.’
Social media star and transgender rights activist Ms. Mulvaney, who lives in Los Angeles, has a large online profile, having worked as a comedian and Broadway actress, appearing on the hit series The Book of Mormon.
Last October, the influencer interviewed President Joe Biden about Democrats’ commitment to protecting trans people’s rights.
And the entertainer has garnered a massive following on TikTok while documenting the transition to “girlhood,” with a series of videos that racked up a billion views.
In it, Mulvaney dressed up as a doll and discussed thoughts about finding love, starting a family and being a mother.
In January of this year, Mulvaney chronicled a grueling “facial feminization” surgery, in which facial bones were clipped and ground down to give her a softer, more feminine appearance.
And in March 2021, Mulvaney announced to her followers that she was a girl, although she has yet to undergo gender reassignment surgery.
