The Camp Nou participants only wanted goals after the draw between Barcelona and Girona on the 28th day of the Spanish league. Despite dominating the game, the Azulgranas were unable to face off against Argentine goalkeeper Paulo Gazzaniga, who became the star of the game. With Robert Lewandowski, Raphinha and Ansu Fati as goalkeepers, the culé team failed to please their fans after being knocked out of the Copa del Rey by Real Madrid.
Despite the bitter result, Barcelona managed to extend their lead over the merengue-based side, who lost 3-2 to Villarreal at the weekend. The Catalans are thirteen points behind second with ten games to go.
