Like Diego Boneta or Eiza González, the actress from La madrastra wants to make his big break in the movie Mecca; He has much talent: from an early age he was recognized for his ability to bring an authenticity to his dramatic performances that very few people achieve on stage, an immense artistic sensibility on the violin (as in Sometime We Will Have Wings ) and piano and embodied both protagonists and antagonists.

Layevska was one of the most famous young actresses of the 1990s and 2000s with Preciosa, Gypsy Love, First Love… A Thousand an Hour, for Televisa, a company where she also took part in the programs Bailando por un sueño and Mujeres asesinas. She was also involved in the dubbing of Sony Pictures’ Lluvia de hamburgueros and the acclaimed Cantinflas with Óscar Jaenada, among other Mexican films (Cansada de besar sapos, Casi divas), but these were not enough for the actress. “There are some small things I would like to achieve. I’d like to do more international projects with actors I admire from Hollywood, I don’t know, work on a big film project,” he admitted in a recent interview.
With fluency in Russian, Spanish and English and, to be honest, a slim white build, opportunities shouldn’t be missed. “I think it’s a combination of several things, the physicality, the fact that I’m not Native American because I’m finally speaking roles that are usually played by people who speak perfect English and English is my third language, I mean “I speak it very well, but I’m still a person who speaks English, I’m not a native speaker (…). Circumstances, luck, possibilities, I don’t know,” he mused.

But he also recognized that not moving from Mexico to important places like Los Angeles, New York or London could limit his options. “After all, it’s important to be there,” she said, adding that it’s more complicated for her and her family at this stage of life with two young children.
“For work, yes (I would move); so it’s very complicated to try your luck again, I have family here in Mexico, I don’t think so, but well, I’m voting for diversity, including European-Mexican ‘Cause I’m a mix,” he said between laughs.
But maybe her dream isn’t so far off: she has starred in a hit series on the Netflix platform, War of Neighbors (in which she dodges the troubles that existed around her in the first season), and has with Maite in another, Triada, Perroni participated.
Layevska has shown throughout this journey that she knows how to enjoy life and is a hardworking and persistent girl, as she revealed at the 2015 Barbie Awards when she was recognized as an inspiration for girls.
In her acceptance speech, the actress thanked her fans and invited them to move on with their dreams. “Thank you for this recognition, I dedicate it to all the women who are here fighting for their dreams because we are strong and we will achieve anything we want,” said the winner, whose power, she said, is not to be given get up and hope it gets better.
