King Charles’ forthcoming coronation ceremony has been thrown into chaos after a series of problems plagued plans for the big day in just three weeks, according to a report.

In addition to the rehearsal stretching well beyond the planned time limit, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s RSVP responses – or lack thereof – have caused delays in planning, a source told The Mirror.

As royal aides find themselves caught in a chaotic “race against time” ahead of the historic May 6 event at London’s Westminster Abbey, sources say a number of notable issues remain to be resolved.

“It’s all very hectic, complete chaos to be honest,” a royal insider told the outlet. “There’s a plan that’s supposed to be the blueprint for how the day is supposed to go, but things change daily, which causes massive headaches.”

Another source told the outlet that the planning stages are “on point.”

“Obviously this is a huge event and the important thing is that everyone is moving in the right direction,” the source said.

“The King and Queen Consort wants it to be perfect, as does everyone involved, and that’s why everything is done to make it that way.”

It’s reported that helpers are still waiting for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s RSVPs for the big day, for which invitations were sent out weeks ago.

Among the myriad of issues for staff to sort out ahead of the big day is the all-important seating plan, which sources say is not yet finalized as aides don’t know if the exiled royals will be in attendance.

Meghan and Harry have not revealed if they plan to make the transatlantic voyage from their home in Montecito, California to London.

If they leave, the exiled royals will be met with the “cold shoulder” of senior members of the royal family, according to one report.

Other concerns reportedly include confusion over tiaras and whether female members of the royal family will wear them at a time when the company is trying to cut spending.

Sources also told the outlet that the King and Queen consort Camilla practiced her roles in a “mock-up abbey” built for her at Buckingham Palace in the run-up to the big day.

The Post has reached out to Buckingham Palace for comment.
