First summer temperatures: Look where it will be over 22°C on Thursday in Quebec

Beautiful sunny weather and summer temperatures of over 22 degrees will prevail in several sectors of southern Quebec on Thursday for the first time of the year.

The mercury will therefore rise on Thursday with maximum temperatures that may reach or exceed 22 degrees in the greater Montreal area or even 24 degrees in certain sectors of the Outaouais.

In addition to Outaouais and Montreal, Environment Canada expects an increase in mild and sunny weather with a mercury of 20 to 22 degrees in Montérégie, the Laurentians, Lanaudière and Estrie that could extend over four days.

Even if the sun will be present, sectors of eastern Quebec will not experience the expected mildness elsewhere, as temperatures in several sectors of Bas-Saint-Laurent, Gaspésie and the north coast will be below normal for the time of year.

Meanwhile, on Wednesday the sky will be overcast almost everywhere with some clearings in the center of the province, while intermittent rain, sometimes mixed with snow, is expected in the morning in Bas-Saint-Laurent and on the Gaspé peak.
