Another promise Maribel Guardia fulfilled during her grieving process for the sudden death of her son Julián Figueroa, who died of a heart attack on April 9 at the age of 27.
The actress recorded a video to show the place where the young singer’s ashes rest after promising last Wednesday to show the floral arrangements and the niche she had placed in her home to house the remains of her only one to keep son.
“I don’t want to part with my son’s ashes for the time being,” said the visibly dismayed Costa Rican at her only meeting with the media.
Despite the controversy that arose on social networks due to the way various journalists stood guard in front of Maribel’s house, the artist preferred to highlight all the love she received at this difficult moment, writing:
“I want to thank the press for the 25+ arrangements they sent using personal resources (not their media) and all my friends and colleagues for all the love they sent. Godd bless you. Thank you for lots of love”.
In addition to dozens of floral arrangements distributed outside and inside the artist’s house, there is also an image of the Virgin of Guadalupe, as well as a framed photo of Julián, where he looks smiling and has a rosary around him, as well as some angels and a part the drawing that little José Julián gave to his father before his death.
Finally, the performer accompanied the images with the single “If you ask me”, one of the many songs that Joan Sebastián’s son composed and sang during his lifetime.
