Kylie Minogue is among the actors who have been added to the ensemble cast of the upcoming Netflix series The Residence.
Created by Paul William Davies and inspired by Kate Andersen Brower’s book The Residence: Inside The Private World Of The White House, the series follows a murder scandal involving White House service workers.
Minogue, 54, will play a version of himself in the crime drama, according to a number of publications including Variety
The Melbourne, Australia-native actress is just one of several stars who have just been added to an already stellar cast that includes Jane Curtin, James Babson, Eliza Coupe, Izzy Diaz, Paul Fitzgerald, Ros Gentle, Juliette Jeffers, Sumalee Montano and Brett Tucker includes , Nathan Lovejoy, EL Losada, Julieth Restrepo, Mel Rodriguez and Rebecca Field.

The official logline reads: “132 rooms. 157 suspects. A corpse. A wildly eccentric detective. A disastrous state dinner. The Residence is a wacky crime thriller set on the top, bottom and back floors of the White House amidst the eclectic staff of the world’s most famous mansion, according to Deadline.
The Residence is part of a nine-figure deal between Netflix and Shonda Rhimes’ production company Shondaland.
Rhimes, 53, will also serve as executive producer on Betsy Beers under the Shondaland banner.
In addition to creating the show for the streaming giant, Davies will also serve as executive producer in addition to his showrunner duties.
The eight-episode series is currently in production, but so far there’s no official word on when it will premiere on Netflix.
Minogue most recently starred in the computer-animated adventure comedy Back To The Outback (2021) while her last on-screen role was in the Australian comedy Swing Safari alongside Guy Pearce, Radha Mitchell, Julian McMahon, Asher Keddie and Jeremy Sims. among other.
