Those who have been enjoying the weather over the past few days are looking forward to the days ahead when the sun shines over Quebec for the remainder of the weekend.

In fact, residents across the province will continue to see increases in mercury levels for the next few days.

In the southernmost regions in particular, such as Estrie and Montérégie, it will reach up to 26 degrees, while in Centre-du-Québec, Chaudière-Appalaches and Mauricie it will fluctuate between 15 and 20 degrees.

We will also need to keep an eye on the Humidex factor which will stabilize temperature wise in most of these regions.

However, residents of Capitale-Nationale and Saguenay – Lac-Saint-Jean will have to wait a little longer before feeling the same heat: the mercury will be between 10 and 15 degrees in these regions.

Although clouds will be infrequent on Sunday, they should still appear slightly in certain parts of eastern Quebec, namely Gaspésie and north at Sept-Îles.

The temperature should also drop to 2 degrees at certain points on Route 138, such as in Minganie or Anticosti.

Finally, for the northern part, when the sun is also felt in Schefferville, however, the clouds will be more present on the Fermont side.

The temperature will be below zero in both cities throughout the day.
