In addition to Samuel Montembeault, at least one other member of the Montreal Canadiens organization will be attending the IIHF World Championship in May: prospect Luke Tuch.

Tuch, second-round pick, 47th overall in 2020, has just wrapped up his third season with the Boston University Terriers, where he notably hangs out with Lane Hutson.

It was his big brother Alex, a Buffalo Sabers forward, who spilled the beans. He revealed to The Buffalo News Daily that he will represent the United States with his younger brother at the tournament, which will be held in Latvia and Finland.

Luke Tuch, 21, has had career bests in games played (40), goals (9) and points (20) with the Terriers this season.

Already equipped with a large size, Tuch has not yet signed his entry-level contract with the Habs. He’s eligible for an additional year in the NCAA, after which he could freelance if he wants to start his career with a different formation on the circuit.
