An acrobat fell to the ground at Coachella while the performer hung in mid-air during a DJ set at the California music festival.
Video footage from the second night of the music festival on Saturday shows the shocking moment the dancer fell after spinning around in the air in the dimly lit space while partygoers danced to the music.
The acrobat was seen spinning around a hanging curtain, and as she unrolled the sheet, she appeared to lose her footing and fall between two speakers.
The woman lay motionless on the ground as people rushed to her aid and paramedics rushed in to take her away.
The incident happened about 5 minutes after her performance.
It was unclear on Sunday whether the woman injured herself while dancing or simply lost her footing, reports TMZ.
The outlet noted that a young member of the crowd passed out when they saw the woman fall, while others rushed to get the DJ to stop playing when paramedics arrived.
The dancer’s condition remains unclear, but she was able to blink before first responders carried her away.

Coachella did not immediately respond to the Post’s request for comment on the incident.
Fall on Saturday was eerily reminiscent of an incident in 2019 at the music festival where a worker fell to his death while setting up a stage for the show.
The worker, whose identity has not been released publicly, was working as a “lead rigger” and had been on the roof when he suddenly fell.

“He’s been in the desert with our team for 20 years, doing what he loved,” Coachella officials said in a statement at the time. “He was a hardworking and loving person who cared deeply about his team.
“As our lead rigger, he was responsible for the countless incredible shows performed at the festival.”
