The Princess of Wales is said to harbor a deep grudge against Meghan Markle for preventing him from saying goodbye to Queen Elizabeth II before her death, royal biographer Robert Jobson reports in a new book about King Charles III.

Kate reportedly felt pressure to stay in England as the Queen spent her final moments in Scotland at Balmoral to prevent Prince Harry and Meghan from visiting her bedside.

In his book, Robert Jobson claims that the king ordered the wives of the queen’s grandchildren to remain in England as it would not have been “appropriate” to have the spouses at his bedside.

“Harry insisted that Meghan accompany him to Scotland as the Queen’s life passed, but the King said only children and grandchildren should be with the Queen,” Jobson says in his book.

So would Charles III. Prince William asked not to bring his wife to Scotland because “if Kate doesn’t come, Meghan can’t come either”.

The biographer claims it’s a way to ensure the unwelcome Meghan doesn’t feel officially left out.

However, Kate Middleton was reportedly heartbroken at missing out on the final moments of the Queen, for whom she had a special affection.

She would therefore retain a certain resentment towards her sister-in-law who would have forced her to miss those important moments.
