The It Takes Two star, who became friends with Ashley when she reached the finale of 2018’s Strictly Come Dancing, reshared the post, to which she captioned, “Love ya Auntie Ash.”

Janette and her husband of six, Strictly Pro Aljaž Škorjanec, 33, revealed their happy baby news on Instagram in February.

Janette has an official photo of a Hello! Spread Writing: ‘We are very excited to share our special news!’

The Cuban-American choreographer detailed her pregnancy in an accompanying interview and admitted she had struggled to conceive for more than two years, sparking fears it might never happen.

“For the last few years we hadn’t used any protection but nothing was happening, so we figured IVF would be the next best thing for us,” she explained.

“I’ll be 40 later this year and the NHS has really good services for women under 40. The doctor said we would start the injections as soon as I got my period, but my period never came.”

“I know IVF can be very taxing on a woman’s body and there’s no guarantee it will work, so to know that this little miracle just came out of a wonderful night we had together is amazing.

“I think the baby decided to give mom and dad a little bit of a panic before saying, ‘Okay, fine, I’m coming up now.'”

Janette explained how she told Aljaž that she was pregnant by handing him a positive pregnancy test and that they “cried and hugged; it was quite a moment’.

Aljaž added that he was “beside me” and hoped the baby would look more like Janette than him.

It comes after Janette admitted on BBC Morning Live in 2021 that it was a “scary decision” because her body as a dancer is her “tool”.

The ballroom host said the coronavirus crisis has made her realize there will never be a “perfect” time to get pregnant and the couple are now looking forward to becoming parents.
