To become champions, the Ecuadorian U17s need one of the following results:
- If they win their remaining two games, they must reach the final with a better goal difference than Brazil, who face Chile and Argentina.
- May Brazil and Argentina draw or lose their next games.
- If they beat Argentina and share points with Venezuela, they need a draw between the “Albiceleste” and Brazil on the last day.
- If they lose against Argentina, they have to clearly beat Venezuela and hope that the “Albiceleste” lose to Brazil.
