A passenger became emotional on a Southwest Airlines flight between New York and Florida in the United States after a baby cried for about 40 minutes. The case was made famous by a video posted on Tik Tok that captured the commotion on the plane and the discussion between the man and the crew, who were trying to calm him down.
“The child has been crying for 40 minutes,” the unnamed passenger complained. It is noted in the recording that when he hears the baby, he becomes more and more irritated and begins to get agitated. The flight team approached to understand the problem and asked the man to stop screaming, but tempers flared even more.
“I’m not screaming, but you want me to scream? I scream,” the traveler challenged. “Did that son of a bitch pay more to scream?” he then fired, referring to the baby. Other passengers intervened in the situation, demanding the man stop the scene, as did his wife, who was sitting next to him. “We’re in a tin can with a baby in a goddamn echo chamber, and you want to talk to me about how you’re okay?” he snapped.
“[O senhor] he’s screaming,” scolded the flight attendant. “The baby too!” replied the concerned passenger. When a stewardess tried to intervene and said he was an adult, the customer yelled, “F*ck you and still down. F*ck this one Baby, can you lower that voice?”
With nothing appearing to be enough to end the confusion, the crew was forced to contact authorities after the passenger continued to shout profanities. The video continues until the plane lands in Orlando, Florida, where he is approached by agents. In the caption of the recording, the netizen explains that the man tried to justify what happened by explaining that he had the right to cry because the baby was with two adults and he shouldn’t have been disturbed. The video ends with the passenger being taken away by the police.

Speaking to TMZ, a Southwest Airlines representative declined to clarify when the flight took place, but did comment on the moment, which went viral on the internet. “We congratulate our crew for their outstanding professionalism in dealing with a challenging situation and we apologize to the other customers on board who experienced such unacceptable behavior,” he said.
