Moviegoers can get a taste of the drama my mother’s men First feature film by Anik Jean with Léane Labrèche-Dor, Marc Messier, Benoît Gouin, Patrick Huard and Colm Feore.
Immina Films and Jessie Films on Wednesday morning unveiled the trailer for the film, which is set for an October 6 release.
Written by Maryse Latendresse (Pas d’chicane dans ma Cabin), My Mother’s Men is about a young woman in her early thirties who receives an unexpected inheritance from her eccentric mother: a mission to reconnect with her five ex-husbands.
The film’s cast includes several other well-known names, including Anne-Marie Cadieux, Isabel Richer, Jean-Simon Leduc, Sandrine Bisson, Louis-Georges Girard and Emma Lafrenière.
In addition to directing the feature film, Anik Jean composed the original music. The film’s soundtrack also features the song Here Comes the River by Patrick Watson.
