Pregnant Holly Hagan hits back at bump shamers

She is expecting her first child, a baby boy, with her nine-month-old husband, Jacob Blyth.

And Holly Hagan hit back at angry bump shamers on Friday after they told her to “wear a little extra to protect the bump”.

The reality star, 30, cradled her baby bump as she posed in a form-fitting, low-cut pink dress.

The racy number featured a plunging neckline that showed off the Geordie Shore star’s ample assets.

One fan commented below the post: “I really love Holly but for the first time while she’s pregnant wearing something like this it’s a bit too much because now you’re not only exposing yourself but your unborn too.”

The fan continued, “I think I’d just wear a little more to protect the bump in case something happens, but people won’t agree.”

Holly hit back, writing: “I’m sorry but no clothes are going to ‘protect’ my stomach. Unless there is a wearable airbag that I am supposed to wear for 9 months, please enlighten me.

It comes after Holly flaunted the lavish details of her combined second wedding and gender reveal in an Instagram post earlier this month.

The Geordie Shore star posted a snap on social media showing the amazing scale of the bash, which took place at The Monastery Manchester in February, and tagged a number of vendors who provided thousands of pounds worth of favors have.

At the event, Holly and her husband Jacob Blyth announced they are expecting a baby boy and made sure no expense was spared in their announcement – complete with giant light letters, amazing flowers, a photo booth and a stunning cake.

The shared image showed glowing letters illuminating Boy and Girl seated in front of a giant statue of a castle, while the tables at the bash had large trees as centerpieces and lantern jars with candles scattered around.

As with many influencer events, she tagged a host of suppliers who helped make her day magical, with the party acting as a follow-up to her wedding in Ibiza last year and a double whammy to reveal the gender of her firstborn.

Holly and her footballer spouse announced their pregnancy news in January and the latest party was filmed for Geordie Shore.

The event took place at the Church and Friary of St Francis, known locally as Gorton Monastery, a Grade II listed former Franciscan monastery in Gorton, Manchester, now used as a popular wedding venue.

On her keyword list, Holly included Mrs B’s party entertainment service Sweet Delights, which offers party rentals, handmade lollipops, sweets and treats, as well as popcorn, cotton candy, waffle and chocolate fountain machine rentals.

She added Secret Garden Balloons, a winner of the UK Balloon Artist Awards, as well as Jon’s Cakes, a specialist in bespoke wedding cakes.

Manchester-based florist Pampas By Post was also mentioned, alongside Illumi-lights, a supplier of LED light-up numbers and letters, balloons, backdrops, props and bespoke party packs.

She also recruited pickapic_photobooths to provide snapshots of the event.

The week before, Holly enjoyed a day with Jacob as they drove to Manchester for a 4D ultrasound scan. The former reality star revealed her unborn baby was “camera shy” as she shared a snap from her visit to the maternity clinic.

The mother-to-be rocked her stomach and beamed. She’s been keeping her 4.2million followers updated over the past few months as she prepares to welcome the little one.

The couple visited the private baby scanning clinic Window To The Womb in Manchester for the scan but apparently struggled to get a clear view of their baby boy.

“We had a visit from lovely @hollyhaganblyth and @blythy9 in Manchester today,” the clinic wrote while sharing the picture of Holly and Jacob.

The former Geordie Shore star re-shared the snap, adding, “Thanks for having us, even though baby chose to be camera shy.”

Despite being in the third and final trimester of her pregnancy, Holly revealed last week that she still doesn’t feel like she has a big belly.

Sharing a picture on Instagram, she revealed that while her baby is healthy, she still doesn’t feel like she has a big belly – even though her pregnancy is just 10 weeks away.

The TV star wrote: “30 weeks. I honestly can’t believe I only have about 10 weeks left! I still don’t feel like I have a real belly at all!

“It took me about 100 photos to feel like, yeah, that looks like a bump. Anyway, baby is happy, healthy and strong as an ox as far as I can tell from those huge movements kicking against my gut.

‘I made a full brutally honest fuck date video in this blog post.’
