If Putin certainly does not have many admirers in our country, Zelenskyy has been wasting his support more and more as the war has progressed. The digs against him this time were started by a war expert like General Marco Bertolini. Speaking to Adnkronos, the former commander of Covi (Joint Operations Summit Committee) did not in vain criticize the Ukrainian president’s willingness to help: “Zelensky no longer asks for the no-fly zone because he probably realizes that there is no will to grant it. Because it would be a clear act of war to include NATO forces or NATO member states in Ukrainian airspace.”
The strategy of the Atlantic Alliance requires important considerations. Granting aid to the country under attack is legitimate, but without exaggeration. The situation is more complex and delicate than ever. An immediate solution to the conflict does not appear to be in sight. At least until peace talks begin between the two nations involved. A scenario that is still a long way off, since Putin and Zelenskyy do not even mention attempting a constructive dialogue. All or nothing cannot be the method, we must find a compromise. Because civilians and soldiers are now putting their lives back into the war for others.
