“I had to remember a lot of scenes, I recorded a lot, I didn’t have time to go to the psychiatrist, to talk to a therapist, to a psychologist,” explained Rede Globo’s eternal “Cabeção”.

Actor Sérgio Hondjakoff, best known for playing Cabeção on the teen soap opera Malhação, opened up about the real reason he became involved with narcotics use. This Monday (1) the artist gave an interview at his recently closed rehab clinic and mentioned his complicated recording routine on Rede Globo.
“I had to remember a lot of scenes, I recorded a lot, I didn’t have time to go to the psychiatrist, to talk to a therapist, to talk to a psychologist. So the most practical way I had to motivate myself was nowhere to resort to the artificial pretext that would be drugs,” Sérgio confessed to SBT TV’s Fofocalizando program.

Then the actor spoke about a controversial life in which he threatened the life of his own father. “I was very upset, I started suffering. I picked up the phone, started venting and my dad started to find it ridiculous. I started getting sad with him because he wasn’t touched by my situation (…) So I was too unhappy with words,” he said of what happened, revealing he was using a high dose of cocaine at the time.
Sergio Hondjakoff has already been released from the rehabilitation clinic where he was treating his addiction. The actor had been hospitalized for 10 months at the Itu facility in central São Paulo, he left last Saturday (29). The artist left the unit accompanied by his mother, his businessman and friend Dino Boyer, and his therapist Sandro Barros.
