8:51 a.m.: One person was killed and three others injured in a Russian shelling near Kherson in southern Ukraine last night. At least 25 people, including three children, were injured in another rocket attack in Dnipropetrovsk in the east.
8.53am: Local residents laid wreaths and stuffed animals outside the Uman apartment building yesterday where 23 people were killed by a Russian strike. A three-year-old child is among the victims.

07:29: Residents of Kiev were woken up this morning by warning sirens. According to the authorities, Russian missile attacks at dawn were repelled by anti-aircraft defenses without causing damage. Fifteen missiles were launched.
